After
此后
the eveningh aith
的每一個(gè)
ita fading light
它逝去的時(shí)光
put the lid
把蓋子
on the hour
蓋在時(shí)間上
and close it tight
并且關(guān)閉得緊緊的
Close up
關(guān)閉了
your tired eye
你疲憊的眼鏡
close up the day
閉合了一整天
Bid the old year
向舊的一年說
Goodbye
再見
and come away.

A man wen to visit a friend and was amazed to find him playing chess with the dog.
某人去朋友家拜訪，發(fā)現(xiàn)朋友竟然再跟自家的狗下棋，大為錯(cuò)愕。
He watched the game in astonishment for a while.
他旁觀了一會(huì)兒，當(dāng)時(shí)就震驚了。
"I can hardly believe my eyes!" he exclaimed."That's the smartest dog I've ever seen"
“我簡直不敢相信!”，他大叫“我從沒見過那么從沒的狗!”
“Nah, he's not so smart." the friend replied."I've beaten him three games out of five." “哪里從沒了”朋友回答。“五局中我贏了三局呢。”
